We started the day in the main manor house , where Cathy was preparing for her big day day with her three lovely bridesmaids. We arrived to a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, which was a benchmark for the rest of the day.
Whilst Abi stayed with Cathy and her bridesmaids, I got into true wedding photographer mode and went to get some shots of Justin and the guests arriving.
Capturing the unique atmosphere at Hanbury Manor
Cathy and Justin were married in The Garden Court at Hanbury Manor, the light and bright conservatory gives you the sense that you are outside, enveloped by the wonderful, walled gardens that surround you.
The sun was shining brightly so after the confetti run, everyone could enjoy refreshing drinks and very tasty looking canapés outside in the garden.
The walled garden, which was rich with colourful flowers, provided a gorgeous backdrop for some bride and groom portraits – the staple of any wedding photography portfolio, of course.
After a delicious wedding breakfast in The Garden Court, there were some brilliant speeches, one of which was recorded by Justin’s brother in Australia, who unfortunately couldn’t make it to the wedding.
Evening entertainment was provided by an awesome band and the happy couple had organised an ever popular Photo Booth supplied by Photo Booth One.
We ended the night with a night time portrait of the new Mr & Mrs in front of one of the giant trees in front of the Manor, a special place for them as its where they had their first kiss. Cuties!
